LoveStories 

LoveStories is a combination of three great experiences: Excellent Food, Epic Stories and Changed Lives. This private dinner will be hosted the pool clubhouse at The Wetherington Country Club in West Chester, Ohio on Valentine's Day weekend. LoveStories is in its second year of existence. At the inagural event in 2011, we raised over $1,200 for Mimi's House.

The Food at LoveStories will be prepared by Gary Henz. Gary is the executive chef at Red Onion Cafe in Monroe, Oh. He previously spent a decade at the Maisonette in Cincinnati, and another 10 years as the executive chef at The Trails End in Dayton. Each guest will have the option of one of three Prix Fixe menu options. Entrees will be served with soup, salad, dessert, and a beverage. Please select your entree and other menu options when you reserve your ticket.

The Menu

• Roasted Tomato Soup with Vegetables and Asiago Cheese
• House Salad with Mixed Greens, Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Croutons w/ choice of Herb Vinaigrette or Ranch
• Entree Options
• Lump crab meat stuffed salmon filet on steamed rice with Julienne vegetables
• Marinated grilled chicken breast topped with white wine roasted tomatoes centered with penne pasta alfredo
• Double cut pork chop with braised red cabbage and augratin potatoes
• Dessert Options
• Chocolate ganache layer cake
• Raspberry cheesecake
• Drink Options Include: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Iced Tea, Red Wine, White Wine

The Stories at LoveStories will be centered around the theme "Love When You Least Expect It". These short stories will be told in the format of The Moth radio show, live on stage by dinner attendees who have been pre-selected by the organizers of LoveStories.

The Purpose of LoveStories is to raise funds to support the girls who live at Mimi's House in Guatemala. Mimi's House is a ministry of Catalyst Resources International. These funds will go directly to provide housing, education and personal development for the girls who live at Mimi's House.

The Cost of LoveStories is $35 per ticket. Thanks to the generous contribution of our chef and others, only $10 of the $35 will go towards the cost of food and drink. That means that the other $25 per ticket will go directly to Mimi's House in Guatemala. That means if we sell out the event we will raise nearly $2,000 for Mimi's House! For context, this same meal would easily cost you $30 plus tax and tip at the Red Onion where Gary serves as executive chef.

• Cash and check are preferred methods of payment at the door. Credit cards may also be used but will result in an additional charge of $2 per ticket to offset service fees that CRI will incurr. 
• If you register to attend and then need to cancel, please use the contact host link to the right to let LoveStories organizers know of your intentions ASAP.
• Seating will be limited to 70 people.
• Guests will be seated with other guests due to table arrangement at the venue.
• LoveStories organizers will attempt to accommodate guests who have friends at the event and sit them at the same table. Please indicate during registration if you have friends attending the dinner.
• Red and White wine will be available to LoveStories guests upon request at the event.
